Community Food & Basic Needs Support

- Local families facing immediate hardship
Practical assistance, emergency groceries, and essential care packages for local families facing immediate hardship.
A community foundation in Windsor, Ontario
so someone else can cross.
HopeBridge works alongside families in our community, not on their behalf. We build what people tell us they need, and we stay until they no longer need us.
Why a bridge
Every family that comes to us is already carrying something. A job that ended. A language that is not theirs yet. A winter they were not ready for. What they are missing is rarely willpower.
What is missing is a span: the thing between where they are and where they are going. Somebody has to build it, and somebody has to hold it up while they walk.

What we run
PR-01
Practical assistance, emergency groceries, and essential care packages for local families facing immediate hardship.
PR-02
Educational workshops, life skills guidance, and youth engagement initiatives designed to build long-term independence and opportunity.
PR-03
Inclusive events, health advocacy, and collaborative local projects aimed at strengthening community ties and resilience.
Published in full, including the ones that did not go the way we hoped. If a figure is not here, it is because we cannot yet stand behind it.
HopeBridge publishes an annual financial statement. Where a programme did not meet its target, we say so and explain what changed.
GI-01
Regular gifts are worth more to us than large one-off ones, because they let us promise a family that a programme will still exist in March.
Set up a monthly giftGI-02
We ask for one commitment: finish the term. Children who are handed a new adult every few weeks learn that adults do not stay.
Volunteer with usGI-03
Employers, schools, faith groups and charities. Most of what we do well, we do with somebody else.
